Elisani da Cruz e Silva, the
world’s tallest teenager, she is 17 years old. Elisani da Cruz e Silva’s height
is about 2.03 meters which is equal to 6ft 8inches and she lives in
Salinopolise, Brazil. Her boy friend name is Fransinaldo da Silva whose height
is 1.63 meters which is equal to 5ft 4inches and he’s 22 years old. Elisani suffers
from an illness which is called peculiar form of gigantism that results from a
tumor on the pituitary gland. The doctors removed tumor, but the growth of Elisani da Cruz e Silva is not constant, it
will give easily odds to any basketball player.
Elisani da Cruz e Silva said in
an interview that she wants to be a model. While talking about her past life
she told that she was too tall to ride the school bus and she left school
because of teasing from classmates. I want to be a normal girl. She also added
that it’s hard when I’m inside home. I get distracted and hit the wood in the
ceiling with my head.
In answer of question about her
boy friend she told “What really attracted me was his personality, the way he
acts with people and the way he acts with me. ” “The only thing that really affects us is when
we hang out holding hands – it seems like he is my little brother or son. “But
I didn’t choose him, that is God choice for me”. Her boy friend Fransinaldo
works in construction. He told that mostly his friends ask him how he hugs her
girl friend, but he always says that there are no barriers to love. He said “She’s
an amazing person. Yes, she is high, but she is very pretty, she has a
beautiful face. I did not bother her growth. I feel at ease with her, I do not
care what other people think.”
Elisani da Cruz e Silva have
sisters, mother Ana Maria Silva and step-father Luiz Jorge, they all live together
in a small house. Her mother Ana Maria Silva said “I know that she sometimes
feel awkward I want her be like the other girls because I know she feels weird
and wants to be like them.”
